The Association operates under a lease agreement with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

The lease agreement is with the Trustees, or Officers, of The Association.  The officers and the clubs form the management committee.

The complex we maintain is, under the lease, a Public Pay and Play facility and casual bowlers are welcome.  Current charges, opening times and season ticket availability are on display at the complex.

The Clubs that form The Association are independent but work together.

Affiliations to leagues and higher echelons of the bowling community exist - depending on which club is involved.

Two clubs are affiliated to Cleveland County and one to Cleveland County Womens Bowling Associations.  The county organisation is part of the English Bowling Federation.

Each of the clubs compete in various local leagues and competitions.  Here is a guide to the choices available to bowlers at Ropner - GUIDE
